Skippers booth attracted attention. Skipper was invited to give a lesson at an area home association group educating the children who live near water to STAY SAFE as the temperatures drop and ice forms on their lake.

Project Skipper was well received at a program presented to 6th graders from area schools this Fall . Students and teachers from area grade schools gathered at the Monroe County fair grounds. The students were cycled through many educational presentations and the feedback given from teachers and students alike was that "Skippers presentation was valuable and very interesting!" WAY TO GO!

Project Shipper also mails "See Ice, Think Twice" children's books to Monroe, Randolph, and St. Clair county elementary school in Illinois.  and has now reached northern Illinois with our book mailings blanketing the state with ice safety awareness  Getting copies of the book to teachers gives them an easy tool to introduce ice safety. Go Skipper GO!
